One Year Anniversary - a day late :)
Well...I'm a day late on this post but I was in the car on the way home from a wedding in Chicago most of the day yesterday, so we're just going to over look that small detail. K? K. ;)
So last year on September 8th I quit my part time job to go full time with my photo business. This past year has been so overwhelmingly good that it is hard to put into words. Each week has had its good times and it's challenges but I have powered thru and learned from them.
I will never forget the conversation with Jay where I was venting to him about how I was going to balance working on someone else's schedule but also working my own schedule and getting everything done for my clients on time. His simple answer was "just quit". It's funny how difficult we make things for ourselves and all it takes is two words from someone else to help it all make sense. Two words that I will forever be grateful for hearing him say and grateful that he has made it possible for me to jump in with both feet.
I am also grateful for Mom, Dad and Jess for being my biggest cheerleaders and the Duncanator for encouraging me to kick those training wheels off.
To my group of photographer friends who lift me up when I am down and let me vent when I am cranky I love you guys so much and would have lost my mind a long time ago had it not been for you!!
and....to my wonderful clients. I have to say that I have the best group of clients a girl could ask for and I am eternally grateful for every last one of you.
Bla Bla Bla...enough with the mush. No post can be complete without any images...so here are some film shots I took at the fair 2 weeks ago :)
Happy Monday Ya'll :)

This guy told me what his name was...Colton, Carlton, Cooper?? Some C-name? If you know him let me know because I woud love to let him have this picture!! :)
