Aaron & Kelsey - Bloomington Illinois Wedding Photography - Southern Illinois
ok…so I know I say that a lot of my weddings are close to my heart….and they are!!!!! but this one is extra special awesome-sauce!!! :) :)
The groomy groom is the son of one of my wonderful, don't know what I would do without her, knows what I need before I need it, shoots amazing images for me, second shooter!!!! I couldn't have been more thrilled that Aaron and Kelsey asked me to photograph their wedding!!! :) :)
drop dead - stone cold stunna!!!!!
This may have been one of my most favoritest moments during a wedding. Right before the ceremony they wanted a minute to just be together and pray. We positioned Kelsey in place….and trusted that she kept her eyes shut (a blindfold on a bride who had just had her makeup done is a no go). Aaron was led in by his big bro and they just had a few sweet minutes together!! Then the family came in and had a prayer time….right before they walked down the isle. :) It was awesome!
I LOVEEEEEEE this image soooo much!!!
This group right here y'all…..*sigh* it just made me so stinking happy to be able to capture this image!!!
For reals……this ring deserves a slow clap standing ovation!!! :) absolutely gorgeous!
High Fives Aaron!
Kelsey and Aaron love to dance….and they do it very well!!! Before the reception started…they had an instructor come in and give everyone a dance lesson!! it was the bomb diggity!!
When I saw that I had captured this image….I'll be honest….a few tears came out. I pulled it together though :) LOL
love you Galey-Bob!!!
Oh….and a swing bang!!! seriously. If you want a good time at your reception….you should totally look into a swing band!! :) :)
What was the most memorable part of your day? Aaron: I have three very distinct memories. 1) driving to fusion brew in the morning to have some quiet time before the craziness began. The Lord hit me with a deeper understanding of Christ and his bride, the church, and how he is so eagerly waiting for that moment when he gets to snatch us up into his arms! 2) when I saw her walking down the aisle. 3) being in the limo right after the ceremony. :D
Any advice for future Brides and Grooms? Don't stress. You'll be married at the end of the day. And if something goes wrong, which it will, it likely won't matter a year down the road.
Funniest moment of your day? Aaron: Probably when Kelsey was having a hard time getting my ring on. Kelsey: I'd say the ring moment was pretty good. I also like Bryan and Samantha's kiss during the toasting
If you could do it all over again, would you change anything? I would have been more clear on directions for the cake at the end. (Cake top and any left overs. Our cake got thrown out and the cake top was put with all of the gifts.)
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
What was your first dance song? Blue moon (without the lyrics, lol)
What was your favorite photo moment? Aaron: When we were left to kind of do our own thing...kissing...in the street while the bridal party was waiting for everyone to arrive. Kelsey: When we were on the blanket. My feet were hurting. It was nice to lay down with my extremely good-looking husband :)
